Week 3 attacks the two things that separate decent players from dangerous ones: a weak foot that actually works, and real 1v1 moves — the chop, the cut, and the step-over. Targets sit at 900–1,000 touches a day, about 6,700 for the week.
Fair warning: the weak-foot days will feel like going back to Day 1. That’s the point. Every clumsy left-foot touch (or right, if you’re a lefty) is a touch most players your age are skipping. Two-footed players get picked first — every coach, every level.

Weak-Foot-Only Day
Target: 900 touchesGoal: an entire session where your strong foot is only allowed to stand.
Today’s routine — weak foot only
- Sole rolls — 2 minutes, weak foot dragging the ball side to side (~175 touches)
- Inside touches off a wall (or a rebound off a step) — 2 minutes (~150 touches)
- Inside rolls — 2 minutes (~175 touches)
- Pull-backs — 2 minutes (~150 touches)
- Foundations — 2.5 minutes, both feet allowed as a reward (~250 touches)
Form cues
- Slow is fine today. Clumsy is fine today. Skipping is not.
- Watch the ball contact your foot — your weak foot needs the visual feedback your strong foot no longer does.
Inside-Outside, One Foot
Target: 900 touchesGoal: dribble with every surface of one foot — weak foot first, and most.
Today’s routine
- Inside-outside, weak foot — 3 rounds of 90 seconds: touch inside, touch outside, walking pace forward (~350 touches)
- Inside-outside, strong foot — 90 seconds at jogging pace (~150 touches)
- Weak-foot sole rolls — 2 minutes (~175 touches)
- Fast foundations — 2 minutes (~225 touches)
Form cues
- Zig-zag down an imaginary line — inside touch crosses it, outside touch brings it back.
- Compare feet honestly: the gap you feel today is the gap you’re closing this week.
The Chop & Cut
Target: 950 touchesGoal: your first true direction-change moves — the inside chop and the outside cut.
Today’s routine
- Inside chops — 2 minutes: dribble two touches, chop the ball sharply across your body with the inside of the foot, go the other way. Both feet (~150 touches)
- Outside cuts — 2 minutes: two touches, cut the ball behind you with the outside of the foot. Both feet (~150 touches)
- Chop-cut ladders — 2 minutes: chop right, cut left, repeat down the yard (~150 touches)
- Fast foundations — 2 minutes (~250 touches)
- Speed toe taps — 2 minutes (~250 touches)
Form cues
- Chop across your body and accelerate out of it — the escape is the move.
- Sell it with your shoulders: lean one way, go the other.
Level up: in the Master Touch app, log today as a drill session and check your drill tier badge — chops and cuts at speed are how you climb from bronze toward gold.
Your leaderboard week starts fresh every Sunday
You’re logging 900+ touches a day now — enough to top most team leaderboards in Master Touch. Join your team, and every touch this week counts toward Sunday’s reset. Nothing motivates a weak-foot day like a teammate 800 touches ahead of you.
Download FreeStep-Over Intro
Target: 950 touchesGoal: learn the most famous move in soccer — slowly, correctly, both directions.
Today’s routine
- Stationary step-overs — 2 minutes: circle your foot around a still ball, alternating feet (~120 touches of positioning taps)
- Step-over, take with the outside — 3 minutes: step over, then push away with the outside of the same foot and accelerate two touches (~230 touches)
- Chop & cut review — 2 minutes (~150 touches)
- Fast foundations — 2 minutes (~250 touches)
- Weak-foot sole rolls — 2 minutes (~200 touches)
Form cues
- Step around the front of the ball, not over the top of it.
- Bend the knees and drop the shoulder — the fake is in your body, not your foot.
Roll-to-Cut Combos
Target: 1,000 touchesGoal: chain moves together for the first time — and hit the 1,000-touch mark for the first time.
Today’s routine
- Sole roll into outside cut — 2.5 minutes, both feet (~200 touches)
- Inside roll into chop — 2.5 minutes, both feet (~200 touches)
- Step-over into cut — 2 minutes (~150 touches)
- Triangle touches — 2 minutes (~200 touches)
- Fast foundations — 2 minutes (~250 touches)
Form cues
- One move flows into the next with a single touch between — no resets.
- 1,000 touches today. Remember Day 1, when 300 felt like plenty?
The Weak-Foot Circuit
Target: 1,000 touchesGoal: run a full Week 2-style speed circuit — weak foot doing the heavy lifting.
Today’s routine
- Weak-foot inside-outside — 2 minutes (~175 touches)
- Weak-foot sole rolls — 2 minutes (~175 touches)
- Weak-foot V’s — 2 minutes (~150 touches)
- Weak-foot chops, both directions — 2 minutes (~150 touches)
- Fast foundations — 3 minutes (~350 touches)
Form cues
- Compare with Day 15. Five days of work and the weak foot already listens better.
- Speed on the last drill only — keep the weak-foot work deliberate.
Test Day
Target: 1,000 touchesGoal: a full 1,000 touches using both feet and every move you’ve learned, plus the juggling check-in.
Today’s routine
- Five-move circuit (Week 1) — 4 minutes (~400 touches)
- Speed round (Week 2): fast foundations + roll-and-stop — 3 minutes (~350 touches)
- Moves round (Week 3): chops, cuts, step-overs, combos — 3 minutes (~250 touches)
- Juggling test — three attempts to beat Day 14. Alternate feet if you can.
Form cues
- Three weeks, roughly 15,000 touches. The ball should feel smaller and slower than it did on Day 1.
Week 3 complete: you now train with both feet and carry real 1v1 moves. Week 4 turns all of it into a permanent habit — the 1,000-touches-a-day standard.
